March 7/09 Family Ride from Eagle Point
There will be a family ride next Saturday from noon to approximately 5pm. We encourage families and children of all ages to join us for a short ride to Wade and Lolita's cabin where we will enjoy a bon fire, hot dogs, and some fun times with the kids. Look forward to seeing you there.

ReplyDeleteThe family ride turned out nicely despite a little wind. Wade and Lolita of Eagle Point provided burgers with all the fixings, a giant fruit plate, and many other munchies for the people who came. I noticed quite a turnout before my daughter and I left at 2:30. I saw many more coming our way as we left. I'm curious how many came out in all.
ReplyDeleteThe fire pit we sat around was put in a nice location near the cabin and the kids were visiting nicely and watching a movie in the cabin while the parents played with the kids and were visiting with each other as well. It was a really great time and a nice way to kill an afternoon with our children. I look forward to another family ride next year. We'll even need to plan for more of them next year.
Thank you Wade and Lolita for the generous hospitality and the yummy food. I really enjoyed the fellowship and location for taking my daughter. I can't thank you enough.
