  1. Hi...we have a cabin in the "south" at Nipekamew Bay and are planning to take part in the Stanley Mission Derby as well as the Ride To. We would prefer to connect somewhere "mid" lake as it does not make sense to go to Town first. What marker would be the best and where does the trail go to Stanley? Thanks, and keep in touch.

  2. Dear slg

The trail will more than likely go up between arrowhead and jones islands not to far from marker 22, or go straight north into russell bay and meet the trail there. Stanley usually has a fire going at the end of russell bay good as any place to meet people going into rally.

  3. This sounds like a lot of fun... wondering how one goes about joining the La Ronge Snowmobile Club? Fees? Responsibilities?

  8. SM Poker Derby was yet again, a fabulous, scenic, memorable ride! We couldnt have asked for a better day! From the somewhat rutted up trails, to the large amount of powder covering the lakes; it really put my sled and skills to the test. Thank you to all for the pleasent company you provided to my family, friends and I. Not only is it because of the gorgeous sledding and scenery that forces them to come back soon, but its the wonderful people they met along the way. No longer is my family friend Randy worried about me in LA....he knows I am well taken care of by you all!
And I have to admit, the following day we went for a shorter tour to Lamp Lake and yes, I got my Dragon stuck! 1st timet his year! Who said there wasnt much snow in LA this year? and after Rob M. throws laughter at me for sinking into the deep white powder, he himself buries the CAT.....lol definatley a fun-filled weekend! Thank you again to all!
